Nautilus Marine is now a proud sponsor of the club and is offering a rebated discount of 20% from the base premium to all PSMYC members. 15% is rebated to the PSMYC member and 5% will be rebated to the club.

MEMBERS BENEFITS

EXAMPLE OF STANDARD POLICY FEATURES:

  • Fishing, water ski and dive equipment up to $1,500 for each item and $10,000 in total.
  • Personal effects owned by you and your passengers covering clothing, shoes, waterproof gear and manchester up to $1,500 for each item and $10,000 in total.
  • Nil excess payable when your boat is moored at its usual berth or private jetty or pontoon.

  • 24/7 emergency claim service.
  • $10 million legal liability cover standard for boats and PWC's.
  • Repatriation costs $1,000.
  • Cover for your boat if involved with volunteer marine rescue.
  • Salvage charges / removal costs covered over and above the sum insured.
  • Marina liability cover.
  • Pollution cover - the accidental discharge, release or escape of fuel, lubricants and clean up after an accident $500,000.
  • Up to $30,000 cover to the named insured from an accident occurring when using your boat, for death, permanent and total loss of sight, use of a limb, thumb or any finger.
  • Lost keys $500.
  • Fishing tournament cover and fee reimbursement.

EXAMPLE OF THE MASTER MARINER ENDORSEMENT ($1M+ BOAT OWNERS):

  • Personal effects - automatic cover up to $10,000 including sun glasses, watches, jewellery up to $500, DVDs and also professional skipper and/or guests personal effects cover, (a $100 excess will apply to each claim).
  • Artworks & Collectables - automatic cover up to $15,000 (max $2,500 per item with $100 excess).
  • Fine wines and alcohol - up to $500 (no excess).
  • Food spoilage - perishable foods items up to $500 (no excess).
  • Computer or Laptop - for a PC or Laptop owned by the insured and kept on board should it be stolen or damaged.
  • Machinery breakdown - such as a sudden and un-foreseen loss or damage to your boat's motor/s and or refrigeration that requires repair or replacement.
  • Charter hire cover - loss or damage to your boat or legal liability arising out of the use of your boat; while it is engaged in occasional charter hire.
  • Painting of the entire side of a damaged hull - when colour matching to the damaged area would normally have been satisfactory (i.e. no contribution).
  • Ship's tender - extended automatic cover of tender/s to include water skiing cover and removal of the excess relating to the loss of a tender alone.
